Ruth Papuni

Ruth is a NZ trained Registered Comprehensive Nurse and she has also completed a Bachelor of Addiction Studies. She spent a number of years travelling and doing voluntary work abroad during the early 2000’s, returning home to NZ in 2010. Since her return, Ruth has Nursed in a variety of settings in the areas of Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug and Dual Diagnosis where her passion lies. She has experience working in both the community and residential areas and has worked with a range of age groups from adolescents to adults within the NGO and Private settings. Ruth’s passion for her work is reflected in the care she provides as an RN and she brings a range of skills and experience to Capri Sanctuary, accompanied by a genuinely caring and empathetic desire to support and walk alongside those who seek change in their lives. Ruth is a member of the NZ Nursing Organisation, she carries registration with the Nursing Council of NZ and DAPAANZ, she is currently undertaking Post Graduate Studies at the University of Auckland.
