Bachelor of Applied Addiction Studies

Andy is a dedicated, robust, and committed clinician who is passionate about the mental health and addiction fields. Andy has a background of personal experience in addiction/alcoholism which has furnished a deep level of insight into their complex nature from a first-hand perspective.

After getting into recovery Andy discovered his passion for supporting others to make positive changes in their own lives. He enrolled in university where he successfully completed a level 7 Bachelor’s Degree in applied addiction studies. The combination of knowledge and skills he acquired while completing his bachelor’s degree along with his own personal experience has translated directly into his capacity to deliver effective support and a unique level of understanding. Andy has experience working in a wide range of settings, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. He has experience in both the public and private sectors where he has worked with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.
